I have a hard wired floodlight cam for 2 years. Suddenly not the floodlights will not turn off. I go in manually to turn them off and they turn right back on. No motions, day or night.

I too have noticed the same behaviour all of a sudden. Is this a bug?

Hi there. I have been experiencing the same problem. I have reset and rebooted the unit but as soon as the light comes back on it goes back to flicking on and off until morning ( neighbours understandably not impressed....). Did you get any helpful feedback ?

Sadly nothing. It's like it's evoking the dusk to dawn schedule. I have tried setting a schedule for 2 mins but it's made no difference. I haven't had unit for long and it wasn't doing this when installed.

I did try the suggestion of going to device care on the ring app for floodlights. Here I did the reset, and this cleared the problem for me.

Hi neighbors. If the lights on your Floodlight Cam are always on, try the following steps: - [Reboot your Camera using the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-Rebooting-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-). - Power cycle your Camera by shutting off the power to it for a minute and powering it back on. - Verify you do not have a [Light Schedule](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058421812-How-to-Use-Security-Camera-Light-Schedules-) in place that would keep the lights on. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) for further assistance. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.

I have done everything you just mentioned and it doesn’t resolve the issue.

I have also called support. They told me to do a hard reset. That did not resolve the issue either.

Well I have the opposite problem. No matter how or when or which way I try my lights won’t come on. No schedule, not dimmed. Not when manually turned on or when detection made.

Hi @user43723. Make sure your Floodlight Cam has been [installed](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001262186-Installing-Your-Floodlight-Cam) properly. I would also recommend still trying the troubleshooting tips in the marked solution, such as the reboot and the power cycle. If this concern persists, please follow up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) for further assistance.
