Communication & Connections during Isolation

There is currently a lot of discussion related to maintaining communication and connections during this pandemic and the explosive number of individuals and families who are in isolation and want to remain in touch with family, friends and groups. My experience with the ring "stick up camera" suggests that these might be an easy way to achieve this goal using video sharing. Looks like it might mean using two phones at each end. A major benefit of the stickup camera is it's simplicity, long battery life and, especially, it's 180 degree field of view. Has anyone done anything along this line using camera sharing?
