"Battery" option on the Ring Spotlight Cam?

I have the Ring Spotlight Cam, and use dual batteries and a Wasserstein solar panel. The batteries drain completely in about 11 days. I have read that some users switch from "wired" to "battery" in the app, and they no longer have a battery drain problem. But I cannot find that option in my Ring app. Thank you for the help.

Hi @Agoodhope4us. You might be thinking of the [Dual Power mode](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045463592-Changing-power-modes-on-your-Ring-Stick-Up-Cam-3rd-generation-) which is available for the Stick Up Cam rather than the Spotlight Cam. For your Spotlight Cam, there is a Power Settings tile on the device profile page that has different settings you can adjust to maximize battery life. I'd suggest checking that out first and seeing if there's any changes you can make, then monitoring the battery life on your Spotlight Cam. :)
