Subscription upgrade ?

I have a ring doorbell with a protect basic subscription paid in full for the year but we have recently added a ring security camera with a trial subscription period which runs out next week so we have signed up for the protect plus subscription to cover all devices but do I need to cancel the ring basic subscription that we have for the doorbell or will ring do that automatically when the protect plus subscription starts ? thank you for any advice
