Ring Protect Plus & Protect Basic

Hi, I have just tried to upgrade my Protect Subscription to 2 cameras, the App tells me I currently have 2 subscriptions running. Should I cancel Basic? When I start that cancellation process, it tells me I’ll lose all of my recordings. Not sure how to proceed? Thanks.

Hi @rimibar. The Ring Protect Basic plan will cover one Ring Doorbell or Security Camera, while the Ring Protect Plus plan will cover all Doorbells and Cameras at one Location. If you want to replace your two Basic plans for a Plus plan, you can [cancel them](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360022109431-How-to-Cancel-a-Subscription-Plan) and then [subscribe to the Plus plan](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360030333671-How-to-subscribe-to-Ring-Protect-). Before canceling your Basic plans, make sure to download any videos you want to keep from your Cameras. I hope this helps!
