Existing chime doesn’t ring

I fitted a ‘video doorbell wired’ last week and am trying to work out why the doorbell chime I connected it to isn’t ringing. At the moment we are relying on being notified by the app when a visitor arrives but would prefer the existing doorbell chime to ring as well.The app reports the doorbell has a status of good. My neighbour installed a Google doorbell and he says his existing chime is working. Our houses are both newbuilds built at the same time so I assume the wiring is the same.Any ideas would be appreciated.Thanks,Wayne

Hi @user_903627. The Doorbell Wired does not ring pre-existing chimes. If you would like to have something ring inside your home with your Doorbell you could use a Ring Chime or an echo device.
