Can you remove your nagging orange upsell banner permanently?
If I had known that Ring would continue trying to upsell via the annoying orange banner in the app along with their reluctance to make it easily removed before I shelled out the money for their platform, I would have shopped elsewhere. I upgraded and I’m still seeing it. “Want to resume premium features…?” I’m paying for premium features, Ring! You can stop the nagging now. John Kelm

I see tons and tons of others around the net are complaining about this and Ring doesn't seem to be able to fix. I called weeks ago and told it would be removed, to just wait a few days for escalation, and now had to call again today. Customer service claims not to have a clue about this and will once again escalate my issue. I did not buy multiple Ring devices to upgrade - only to turn around and be harassed about upgrading every single time I need to open this app. Just disable it instead of looking for ways to push customers into upgrading 20 times per day. Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation originally titled "Last day of trial..." banner

UI get multiple trial notifications with different countdowns. I'm guessing the clock starts ticking on each new device added and it's too complicated to code a new installation to go check for an active subscription. (I have added 4 devices over the past few months.) Or they are just lazy. Editing the notification text to include "you can ignore this message if you have an active account" or some such would be nice. Just got off a chat with a live service agent and he assured me that any device on trial would become active on my current subscription. We shall see. I suppose I just have to wait until all the trial clocks count down to zero.

The RING product line has really gone down hill since Amazon bought them. What a piece of garbage now. I wish I never would have bought this system.

Hi @user_fdeb26. If you still have time left on your free trial, that would be why you're still seeing the orange banner. If your trial has ended and you're subscribed to a plan, you may be seeing a banner advising you that you are missing out on premium features. Our team is looking into this to ensure the correct banner appears based on the plan you are subscribed to and the status of your free trial. Thank you for your feedback!
