Transferring Ring Alarm Pro + Sensors
Hello, Have a Ring Alarm Pro with multiple sensors for a rental property. I want to transfer ownership to the tenants (shared access would be privacy issue). If I just delete the Alarm Pro, will it also delete all the sensors? When they setup the Alarm Pro, will it still have all the sensors attached to it and work for them? Or, do I have to remove every single sensor from my account a they have to add to their account? Also, what about the connected Yale door lock? Do they have to go through setup again for that? Will the lock ‘remember’ the access codes even though it’s disconnected from Ring? TIA.

Hi @qbcade. No matter which way you go through it, the new owners of the Alarm Pro will have to set up the Sensors on the alarm when they take ownership. They will also have to set up the Smart Lock. It won’t transfer any access codes to the Ring app or alarm, but if you want to find out if the Smart Lock stores anything internally, I recommend reaching out to the lock manufacturer.
