Ring Alarm Outdoor Siren how do i clear the tampered sign

question for someone at ring H.Q i installed my ring alarm outdoor siren a few weeks ago, and the question i have for you is my house wall is pebble dash and so ring alarm outdoor siren is not sitting flat, do i need to reinstall it on a flat wooden board on the wall so that the tampered sign no longer show,s on the app

    Glad you asked, @tom77! This is an interesting scenario indeed. There is a screw that can be found on the tamper arm, on the mounting bracket itself. Tightening this screw will extend the reach of the tamper arm. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :)

      new up date for you all, my Ring Alarm Outdoor Siren is now fixed i had to take the cover off and do the tampered screw and it is now on line, so if anyone has a pebble dash wall please remember to add just the tampered screw, i have been in touch with ring today and told them that for some reason it had knocked my base station it was not showing in my full plan, so i had to kill off the plan,, re do it so that they all show up, fair play to ring got my half refund back right away , very good service , 5 stars :grin: :grin:

        tom77: tampered Is the tamper screw the one I have circled? I also have a pebble dash wall and struggling to get rid of the tampered alert

      Hi @user75970. Yes, that is the tamper arm, which has the screw that Marley was referring to.
