Thank you for this image example, @Christian_Bailey! Just to confirm, despite the battery message and level resolving itself, you've checked that there is indeed not a low battery in your Smoke/ CO listener? As a troubleshooting step, please remove the battery and then put them back in. If possible, please also replace the battery. This will rule out most variables. Please also check that your other Alarm devices are not reporting this, and that the distance between your Base Station and listener is not too great for health status reporting signals to be efficient. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :)

I installed a Ring Alarm just about 1 month ago, with all new hardware. I have received this exact same alert 3 times since then. When I check the battery in the app it looks as the photo above, and when I check the voltage on the battery with a multimeter, it is completely normal. Any new thoughts?

Hi @jslanger. Make sure the Listener is within 50 feet of the Base Station, as too great of a distance can cause interference and the battery level may not be reported correctly. You can also try removing the Listener and setting it back up in the Ring app to refresh its connection with your system. If this concern persists, I'd recommend following up with our support team so they can take a closer look at this and troubleshoot further. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). I have the same issue with TWO of these devices. Within 20 feet. One minute low, another full. Returned and exchanged for a new unit. Same issue. At this price it is cheaper and FAR more convenient (since you can't trust this device!) to just get a new Ring supported Fire/CO alarm itself! I am going to contact the safety commission (since this is fire safety related) and file a report. I don't think this should be sold as is at all, and I am unhappy and distrustful of the safety of this product now.

Hi @MikalG. Have you contacted our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Contact-Us#callus) regarding this issue at all? We have a Ring Alarm team specifically that can take a look at things on the back end and offer troubleshooting assistance for your Smoke & CO Listeners. I'd recommend contacting them so they can investigate further.
