Base station replacement
Our modem was hit by lightning and in turn, our ring pro base station is no longer working properly. After being on the phone with eero and ring for 2-3 hours, they claim engineering will get back to me. I've lost faith and purchased a new base station as I don't have weeks to figure this out. Is swapping out a new one easy? Do I have to manually reconnect all my sensors?! All the ring help topics address this but for replacing stations that Are in working order. But none for ones that are shot. The base station still works for the alarm on cellular backup but will not connect the internet nor will it switch over to backup internet. Thanks

Hi @User987654321. If you are swapping Base Stations, all of the sensors will need to be Factory Reset and the Z Wave Signal will need to be reset. You can learn more about this [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000071906-How-to-Factory-Reset-Your-Ring-Alarm-Devices).
