We have a first and a second generation Chime and neither works. The newer one will not even light up no matter where I plug it in and now that I removed it from the network I cannot reinstall it. The first generation has a blue light but no amount of button pushing makes it flash and it is offline. The ring tech says buy new ones. First, after reading the complaints like mine, why throw out another $60? And by the way, they are out of stock. Call us unhappy.

Hi @Eslteach. What troubleshooting steps have you done on either of the Chimes so far? I know you mentioned trying different power outlets, which is a great first step. If you haven't already, I'd also suggest trying to fully reset the Chimes by holding down the reset button on the side for at least 15 seconds. If the Chimes are still unresponsive after that, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can take a further look. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
