I've got a ring doorbell and two ring chimes. The chimes regularly lose their connection and then don't ring when someone presses the doorbell. This happens to the extent that they haven't rung for any visitors to our house this week. I've tried resetting the chimes. One is close to the router and the other is close to an extender and both are showing good signal strength. I've contacted support without any joy. The person I spoke to seemed to think I couldn't connect the chimes, where the issue is the chimes don't stay connected.

Hi @user32434. When a device is disconnecting from the wifi, this usually indicates a weak or unstable signal. There may also be interference if there are a lot of wifi-connected devices on your network. Try creating a guest network on your router and connect only the Ring Chimes to this network to see if that helps. If it doesn't, I'd recommend following up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) for more in-depth assistance. Your request may need to be escalated since it involves advanced network settings.
