Ring Chime Pro can't get through garage door

Ring Chime Pro is getting strong wifi connection from my modem, but it was never able to get through the garage door to the floodlight camera that is less than 15ft away. Making this product useless. should have just skip Chime PRO and get cheaper chime and spend money on mesh wifi extender or just skip RING products altogether.
