Ring chime, does it increase subscription cost?

Does ring chime device count towards increasing basic subscription cost even if it not a camera? No info online, just says camera or devices not accessories… I just bought the ring doorbell but not chime, just wanna know if it’s worth getting if it’ll increase monthly cost or not 🤷‍♀️

Hi @Kifujin. No, you don't need to purchase another Ring Protect Basic Plan for the Ring Chime or Chime Pro. If you have the Ring Protect Plus or Pro, the price will not change with the addition of a Chime or Chime Pro.
