Chime still sounding for motion even though the setting is off

I have one ring doorbell and one chime, the chime is set to sound when the doorbell is pressed, but off for motion detection. Out of the blue the chime has started sounding when motion is detected, and I’ve checked the app and the setting is still off for motion detection.Does anyone know why this has started happening and how to fix it please? I’ve been into the app and turned the setting on/off several times but it’s not fixed it.

    Hi @snerkler. Make sure your Ring app is updated to the latest version. I’d then recommend deleting the Chime and setting it back up in the Ring app. Adjust the settings so it is set only to play an audible alert with a doorbell press and not a motion. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please follow up with our support team so they can take a closer look.
