Chime pro gets hot
The back of our chime pro runs hot to the touch. We turned off the night light manually and its inside. Should this be happening?

The back of my Ring Chime Pro Gen 2 also feels really hot. Even with the night light off. It's in a cool room without direct sunlight and no other devices nearby.

THi @Ramon13. I suggest unplugging your Chime (if you can safely do so) or turning off power to that outlet. Once there is no power going to the Chime, contact our support team for the next best steps. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). As instructed by Tom_Ring, I contacted Ring support. Ring support instructed me to factory preset my Ring Chime Pro Gen 2 and wait for 24 hours. This did not fix the issue: The Chime Pro Gen 2 still feels really hot. Then Ring support shipped me a replacement Chime Pro Gen 2. Unfortunately, the replacement has the same issue: The back of the replacement Chime Pro Gen 2 feels really hot.

CHi @Ramon13. I'd recommend following up with our support team once more on this if you have concerns on the heat from your Chime Pro. Some heat is to be expected with electronics when plugged into an outlet, but any safety concerns should be brought up with our support team so they can ensure they're properly addressed, as your safety is a top priority.

I communicated via email with Abdelrahman from Ring Community Support. Unfortunately, Abdelrahman, has not replied for 10 days. Despite several reminder emails of me. The issue still is not fixed.
