Chime lights won't light up and cant connect
troubleshooting

Had our new Ring doorbell for several years. Doorbell works fine. Chime has decided not to work. Unplugged it and waited ten seconds. Plugged it back in. Blue light flashes for about 1-2 seconds and then nothing. Held the side button in for a variety of durations from 5-60 seconds and nothing. Deleted it from my app to attempted to reinstall but no lights. WiFi good. Power good. No lights at all. Many attempts to reset at different outlets and even close to ring doorbell. What's wrong with it? Is is done and I need a new one?

    Hi @user_cba937. Have you tried walking through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device? I'd also suggest moving the Chime to a different power outlet, then holding down the button on the side for 15 seconds to reset it. If the Chime is still not responsive to the new setup attempt, please follow up with our social support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram.
