Chime 2nd gen has stopped sounding alert from stick up cam motion
This is really frustrating me! Recently bought a stick up cam and when motion is detected on it, it will sound an alert in my chime pro but does not do it on my chime 2nd gen, I have two doorbells and when I set them to sound on the gen2 they do, but the cam won’t, it did work when I first got the cam but has now stopped. I called ring technical but the guy was pretty hopeless, saying he’d have to get them to email back as he couldn’t resolve the issue. I then uninstalled both the chime and the camera and reinstalled them, but the cam motion is still not sounding on the gen2 chime. Anyone have any ideas please as this is doing my head in! Update. I don’t believe this! I’ve just had an email from ring saying my issue has been resolved??! The guy said he’d would basically escalate my concern and yet I received that! This is terrible customer service and I’m paying for their plan, and have bought hundreds of pounds worth of equipment! 😡😡
