What IP addresses and ports are required for the Ring system?
Hi, I'd like to know what IP addresses and ports are used by the Ring system. I'm referring to what the cameras themselves use both outbound and inbound. Also, what IP addresses and ports does the iPhone and Android Ring app use? Perhaps Ring.com IP and http and https but I'd like to confirm. Also, I would like to know if these are static or do they ever change. In a firewall environment where there is strict security, I would need to know what IP addresses and ports are necessary. Thanks, Jason

I am looking for the list of public IP addresses that are associated to Ring. Or an FQDN that the ring devices on my network are reaching out to. This way I can have a specific firewall rule, with the source of my ring doorbell / device to Ring servers on the internet to destination ports described in this article posted. You have the ports here, but no destination FQDN's or public IP addresses mentioned that are used by Ring.

UCan the Document you linked to be updated to provide the following type of details, please? A list of ports, without Source, Destination, Type, Direction is not very useful at all. Source: Ring Cameras Destination: endpoint1.ring.com, endpoint2.ring.com Ports: 80,443 (TCP) Source: Ring Cameras Destination: time.nist.orgPorts: 123 (UDP) Source: Ring Alarm Panel Destination: alarn.ring.comPorts: 443 (TCP)

Good question, @jasonmadruga84! We have just the resource for you. Our help center article about Ports and Protocols contains the specific ports to allow Ring to use on your network, for best results. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-The-Protocols-and-Ports-Used-by-Ring-Devices I hope this helps! :)
