Don't forget, Ring push all footage through the internet to their servers and then back to you....yes, even when you are on your local network. Basically your cameras are just a dumb portal to route imagery to Ring. So on top of your wifi, your internet connection must be fast enough to route 1080p footage both upload and download and with a fast Ping rate. Obviously if other devices/people are using the internet at the time, this will slow things up further still. What can make it worse is if you've asked the app to "Link Devices" (for example if one camera senses movement, others start to record). When you do this, it means several 1080p streams are uploading at the same time, eating up your bandwidth, and that really will affect the time it takes to review footage significantly. It's best to turn off all but the really necessary Linked Devices (found in every camera's settings on the app). What you can also try is giving Ring Cameras and Doorbells priority on your router. Normally if you find the device itself, you can check a priority setting. Not all routers have this facility and some might only have priority for certain file types like video or music, which is pretty useless to be honest.
