Share Ring Account on Wife's Phone

I sent a share request to my wife's email address. She received the email but before she can access the account, it is asking her to scan every device. I am not going to climb a ladder and look for a barcode to scan or remove my Ring doorbell to scan the back. Is there any other way for my wife to have the same phone view and notification as I have on my phone without having to scan every device?Feedback appreciated.
