Ring Garage door controller

First, I must go on a tangent.  I've had, and still have, a Liftmaster Garage door opener.  Recently had to change ISPs - changed to T-Mobile.  Garage door app (MyQ) quit working.  Liftmaster claims the garage door isn't compatible with T-Mobile and I should use a range extender.  Tried that.  Didn't work. Now to Ring.  I'd like to buy the Ring garage door controller.  I'm hoping someone here can confirm it will work with T-Mobile before I buy.  Or, offer another suggestion.
