Ring Doorbell 2 - Unable to connect to HUAWEI mifi dongle

I am unable to connect my ring doorbell 2 to a HUAWEI (E5573) 4G mobile Wi-Fi device. I am able to find the device in the available networks during setup but doesn’t connect after I enter the password ( which is correct) has anyone had a similar issue ?
