Order placed on Dec. 18 2021 still has not shipped why?

Order new camera paid in full on Dec. 18th 2021 every day i get email thaning me for my patience and telling me order has not shipped yet at time of order i was told it would ship in 1-5 days still nothing. when can i expect this order. what is the hold up?
