Moving Ring system to another existing address
troubleshooting

Hi. Need some guidance to make an efficient move of my devices I have 2 different address as i am in a long moving process (some ingoing renovations) Address 1: - some internal cameras - doorbell camera - ring alam station (with the sensors and also CO2 sensors) Address 2: - only 1 interior cameras - planning to add new cameras on the next 2 weeks For address 1 I am paying a annual subscription of Home Standard that will renew in aug 2025 For address 2 I am only paying a Home Basic montly subscription as I only have 1 camera This week (april) I want to move the Ring Alarm from Address 1 to address 2 End of may I want to move the rest of cameras from address 1 to address 2 and at this point close address 1 as will be closing the rental unit. What is the best strategy? 1. I cannot change address as I want to leave some cameras in address 1 for for some aditional weeks, correct? 2. If I just remove the ring alarm from address 1 and install in address 2, this should work 3. In may (when closing address 1) can I make a address change to address 2 to carry out the subscription? Or will it generate conflict as there is already the address 2 on the ring system with an home basic plan?

Hi @user_525acd. Listed below will be some Help Center articles to help you with this.   https://ring.com/support/articles/i5jq9/Moving-Ring-Alarm-Pro-to-a-New-Location   https://ring.com/support/articles/lqv9a/Moving-with-your-Ring-devices   Generally speaking, once you are completely done with one address, you'll just cancel the plan and move your device to your new address, since Home Plans are location specific. If there is time left on the plan, you'll receive a pro-rated refund.
