Mandatory Arbitration - I don't consent
I was notified that the ring terms of service now include mandatory arbitration. For information about this scummy practice, [check out this article from the Economic Policy Institute](https://www.epi.org/publication/the-arbitration-epidemic/). I would like to know how to opt out of this new requirement in the contract. Since Ring has stated that continuing to use your devices constitutes agreement with the new terms, I would like to know how Ring plans to compensate users who have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on their home security systems, but now cannot use them without agreeing to new predatory terms. I have called your customer support line several times over the last month, and been told that they cannot help, the only available recourse is in this forum. Would someone who works at Ring please reach out and FINALLY resolve this critical issue? I would like to either opt out of the arbitration clause, or receive a refund for the hardware and unused service subscription which I have paid for prior to the announcement of the new terms.
