I was given a discount code to apply toward a Ring product because this is now the second time I’ve had issues with the exact same item. The peephole camera has stopped working again, and despite paying monthly for a Ring membership, I haven’t been able to view anything for months. When I called customer service for help, the representative I spoke to was shockingly unprofessional. She had an arrogant tone, lacked basic empathy, and acted as if I were the one expected to provide assistance. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, she even made a dismissive "mtch!" sound with her mouth—clearly signaling she couldn’t care less. How does someone with that attitude even work in customer service? It left me wondering: Is she burned out? Unmotivated? Facing personal issues that are spilling into her work? Regardless, it's completely unacceptable behavior. Experiences like this make me seriously reconsider continuing with Ring. I’m now thinking about canceling my membership altogether and requesting a refund for the months my camera hasn’t functioned.
