Brand new device - set up out of the box, started to download an update and is stuck on 90%. Tried to factory reset the device, reset the mobile app - still getting stuck on 90%. Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi neighbors! Can you please let me know which model of Doorbell or Security Camera you have? You can find the name of your device on the original packaging or on the back of the device itself. I'd be happy to check with my team on this once I have more information on which device you're setting up. :)

          Hi neighbors! Thanks for sharing which model of Ring device you have. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try if your Ring Doorbell or Security Camera is stuck on a firmware update: * Disconnect the Doorbell or Camera from power for at least 1 minute and then reconnect it to power. If your Ring device has a removable battery, make sure to remove the battery and ensure it’s fully charged as well. * Reset your Doorbell or Camera by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once this reset is done, try setting the Doorbell or Camera back up in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If this issue persists and these steps don’t help the firmware update finish, please contact our support team at one of the numbers available [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).             I just got the Ring Doorbell 4 and got stuck at 90%, then device health says firmware installed. Now getting intermittent software update notifications saying it will take up to 15 minutes to update. This goes on all day long. What the heck! Is anyone else getting software update messages?

              Same thing is happening to me with a new device. Clearly the Ring product has flaws if this same issue is impacting so many people.
