Changing WiFi access

Bought a home with a Ring hardwired. Found out you need QR code or Mac I’d from packaging or from back of Ring unit but almost impossible to take it off. So I got the Mac I’d then followed the steps for setup to the point where you have to press the orange button on the back. Couldn’t get Ring off to do this but I was able to squeeze a small flathead screwdriver between the back plate and the Ring housing. Once I had an opening I was able to put a paper clip with a bend at the end into the right side of the Ring to press the orange button which then makes the Ring begin to flash m. Then you can connect to your new WiFi. Hope this helps. AJ
