[Android] Some delays after updates

Question

There is a few seconds delay between pressing the power button and the screen waking up after latest update Ring app for Android to version 3.83.2 (Apr 3, 2025). Delays happen if notification icons are presented after the Ring app notified about some alarms.

Hi @user_26986a. Do you mean there's a delay on your phone, or when you open the Ring app? If it's on your phone itself, close out any apps you have running in the background, restart your phone if you haven't done so in a while. If the Ring app is what has a delay, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
