Ring Transformer & Chime Box All In One

Just installed a ring doorbell camera and now have no chime as the transformer is now in my old chime box…having done some research I’ve found that I can buy a dedicated Ring transformer box, I can also buy a plug in chime….BUT wouldn’t it make sense to create/make/sell one transformer/chime box for people who have hardwired the system because this way we are able to hardwire the ring chime while also housing the transformer and have them both connected to the mains instead of having to plug a separate independent chime….i have no way of hearing the doorbell now unless I have my phone alert me which is not ideal for me! Don’t have an issue buying a chime either but it would make more sense to have one box that is capable of doing two things without the need to actually plug in a chime with a 3 pin plug!
