Just bought a Ring system and I’m blown away that this is not a simple option. I see references to it here and there via a “camera light” option but I cannot find it. If the camera has the ability to disable this light then the dev’s should allow it.

No need to tip off bad guys that they’re being recorded. They’ll just take the camera or destroy it.

Just bought 2 cameras and  realised about the blue light problem. How disappointing that I would need to ‘enhance’ this otherwise good device with black insulation tape or paint.

PLEASE. Make it an option to turn off the blue indicator light when recording on the indoor cameras! If the camera is offline or needs attention, a notification should go to the registered users email/text.

Have you thought about adding some black tape over it ? I know it's not a permanent fix but it might be ok temporarily if they decide to do it .

PLEASE give an option to turn off the bright blue light on the indoor camera. I use it as a baby monitor and every time the light comes on it lights up the whole room!!! It wakes the baby all the time!!

We need to have the option to turn off and on. I don't need an intruder to know they are being recorded and go straight to the camera to destroy it. The point of the camera is to catch up and see what they are stealing. This won't help me with an insurance claim.

I did use a tiny trimmed piece of black electrical tape .... used twezzers to carefully stick the tape just over the Blue light. Was careful not to cover the any portion above or below the light (so not to cover the motion detection or IR light for night operations). It works.

Give us the option to turn off the blue indicator light on the stick up cams. I just bought a 3 pack and have many other ring products and this is a deal breaker. Let me know if this can not be removed so I can return these products.
