Improvements badly needed

Hi… I talked to Support cause I had some really serious issues with buying this ringer… I had many obstacles to work around to get my ring to work correctly… just want buyers to be aware of these because if you don’t really do your homework, you’re gonna end up regretting it… one area that ring needs to improve is durability for outside rings, they should all be weatherproof because that would alleviate a lot of issues specially with battery operated ones, I don’t understand why they didn’t do this because it doesn’t make sense to have an outside product that’s not waterproof, heat proof and cold proof. If you’re gonna have an outside product, it should weather proof…This is common sense. My door is metal on top of it. I have a metal security antitheft accessory around it as well… my front door gets the sun all day long so my ringer got super hot, this is the thing you need to consider with the next generation…. Next anti-theft as well needs to be worked on, better installation than two tiny itty-bitty screws, I had several neighbors rings, get stolen very easily, need to seriously anchor the ringer into the door so it’s impossible to rip out, that was concerned with many people I have talked to about having the ring, need to improve, so it won’t get stolen very easily… My next issue is Wi-Fi range. Very poor. I live in a three level apartment, my problem is my Wi-Fi is on the third floor, I can’t move it, my door is three floors down, so my Wi-Fi signal was extremely poor, Ring needs to improve its Wi-Fi range to 2000 feet or more, most houses don’t have their Wi-Fi directly at the front door, and I have a very high-end router and it still didn’t reach, need to improve the range so people don’t have to constantly deal with that issue and having to buy Wi-Fi extenders, it should be in a product already, just my opinion… I do like the ring but it seriously needs some improvements and these are the three issues I have with it, hope you guys consider my suggestions so that you can make your product better for your customers… if I had known all that, I probably would’ve not bought it, because it just doesn’t fit my scenario, also I see that you have the peep hole design, which is OK, but you should make a design one for apartments…. Most apartments won’t allow you to drill ..tape. Use screws, or glue… my apartment complex wouldn’t allow it at all… everyone had to go to clamping and anti-theft device in my apartment complex … you might want to figure out how people with apartments can have this device…maybe add a antitheft devices to your product … that would work well…. thanks Scott.
