Charge portal on outside of Ring Doorbell

I recently installed a Ring Video Dorbell, and am finding even after following all the battery saving tips, It needs to recharged every 3 weeks. (6 to 12 months between charges. Yeah no.)Why is there not a charge port on the outside of the unit? Having to take the 2 tiny security screws out of the bottom each time is a pain, and God forbid you drop one in the landscaping.It would be so convenient to be able to plug it in still mounted in place. Portal could be on the botom side to help avoid moisture entering it.Thank you.
