I've been evaluating Ring vs Nest in advance of a renovation I will be doing to my house in Spring '24., and whilst I really like Ring, it seems there are features that are missing - and worse half the time they are in the US and not in the UK. This worries me as it seems that Ring don't care about the UK market. I can see lots of posts on the same topic, but the votes might not look high as spread around. In this request I am only asking that a fire / smoke alarm of any kind is brought to the UK market. It doesn't need to call emergency services, just notify via the app (with the ability to mute it). That would be more than enough (I'm not sure I would really want my fire alarm to call the fire brigade!). Can we get some insight into whether this is planned or not? At the moment I will be buying Nest due to these product gaps. thanks

Agree that this would be a really useful product. My understanding is that the listener that sells in the US would just need to change the zwave band for the uk. Seems simple enough. C'mon Ring.
