Remove Shared Ring Devices Showing in Alexa
troubleshooting

I just purchased a Ring Security system, but my parents and my in-laws each have "shared" their systems with me in the app. I went to go do some routines in Alexa and noticed I can see all of their Ring devices...and it can be hard to decipher who owns which device. Is there an easy way for me to remove all of their devices from my Alexa smart devices list?

Hi @the-iceman. You can disable or even remove the devices you don't want from within the Alexa App. * In the Alexa App, tap on Devices from the bottom bar. * Tap All Devices and select the device you want to remove. * Tap the cog wheel in the top right and then swap the Enabled toggle to Disabled. * Alternatively, you can also hit the trash can icon in the top right to fully remove the device. I hope these steps help! Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

This is a terrible expected workflow. Each time you want to add a new device to your Alexa , you would then have to manually remove each of the shared ring devices. A better workflow needs to be developed.
