Would like to see some device operating temperature ranges well below the current setting of -5degF. When winter windchill hits, -5 just isn’t good enough.

Keep in mind that the wind chill isn't a measure of the actual air temperature, so the devices should continue to operate even if the wind chill is below the rated operating temperature. I have battery devices myself and have found that they continue to operate reliably until the temperature hits around -10 to -15F or so, depending on battery capacity. Once the temp is that cold the batteries themselves cease to function, so the cameras go offline (Spotlight Cams). I have had no issues with my Floodlight Cam in extremely cold temperatures thus far.
