Can Alexa control the lights on my Solar Ring Cam?
I’ve recently purchased a new house with a ring camera installed and I’m trying to figure out if I can voice control to turn the light on my solar powered Ring camera on and off? I have no problem controlling it from the ring app, but cannot control it from the Alexa app or seem to voice control it even though it is connected to my Alexa app. Maybe I just don’t know the correct voice command? Is this even possible or am I stuck controlling it strictly from the ring app without voice?

Hi @Djrandolfs12. Have you tried setting up a routine for your Alexa device? A routine will allow you to create specific voice commands that activate your Ring devices. This Community post [here](https://community.ring.com/t/my-favorite-alexa-routine/37519) has some great information on setting up an Alexa Routine. Try that and let me know how it works for you.
