Verbal password

I can't change the verbal password. The instructions for doing so are wrong and I need help

    Hi @ArthurFentaman. The information in this Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035676951-Using-and-Updating-Your-Verbal-Password) is accurate. This will allow you to change your Verbal Password. I hope this helps!

      @Tom_Ring there is no option for password in app or in my account as per the link in your post above.Could this be due to still on 'Trial' period as never had option to set password when starting the trial eitherHave just subscribed now to Protect Plan with assisted monitoring but trial does not finish until tomorrow

        Hi @whydoIbother, happy to chime in here. You have to ensure you have set up the Professional Monitoring before you can set or change your verbal password. In the Ring App. If you are in the US, you can see how to set up Professional Monitoring in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047616551-How-do-you-sign-up-for-professional-monitoring-). Signing up for Professional Monitoring will prompt you to set up your verbal password as well. If you're in the UK, you can see how to set up Assisted Monitoring [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360032116171-Understanding-Assisted-Monitoring). It's important to note that with Assisted Monitoring, you will not be setting up a verbal password. I hope this information helps clear things up! :)
