Two separate accounts
My wife got the ring door bell but won’t let me have access to it. I see I can make my own login name etc. when I downloaded the app. can I continue and add the same device onto my own person account or would that mess up what she has on hers for it?

Did anyone ever get a solution to this besides calling a phone number? We’re having the same issue. The link in the email doesn’t really work. It just goes to a page that shows no shared locations.

THi @ARingerNaybor. If you are having issue adding a Shared User, follow these steps to see if they help with your concern: * Have the Shared User delete all email invitations from Ring. * Have the Owner of the Ring account delete all Shared User invitations from the Ring app. * Make sure that you have the latest version of the Ring app installed on your phones, as well as the latest OS for your phone and then reboot your phone. * Have the Owner follow the steps for adding a Shared User (Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005235186-Controlling-Ring-Devices-With-Users-and-Roles)). * Have the Shared user check their email and follow the onscreen prompts. If this doesn't work, repeat the process on a laptop or tablet. Let me know if this helps!

I think we may have had a similar issue when trying to add someone to the account but when they made their own account it made them a home. In order to see the home that was shared with them they had to click on the corresponding home after accepting the invitation. Hope this helps!

I am having the exact same problem as others are describing. I am a Ring owner for the Ring system at my house. My daughter set up a Ring at her house and is trying to give me shared access. I am receiving her email invitations. I am following the instructions to add myself as a shared user but I don’t see any of her devices. I don’t see a resolution in the responses. Has anyone solved this issue yet?
