Stuck in cellular after IP change
connectivity
troubleshooting
Hi community, My base station is wired. I needed to change the IP range for my home network. After the change the base station is stuck in Cellular and won’t switch back to Ethernet. I assume it’s configured for DHCP. Do I need to reset/re-adopt? All the cameras just kept working fine btw. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Halcyonz80. Try rebooting your Base Station and then going through setting up the Base Station on your wifi again. To reboot your Base Station, **quickly** press and release the reset button at the back of the device with a paper clip or similar tool. **DO NOT PRESS AND HOLD THE RESET BUTTON DOWN LONGER THAN ONE SECOND TO AVOID FACTORY RESETTING THE DEVICE.** To go through setting up your Base Station again, go to your Base Station settings page in the Ring app and select Device Settings. Tap on Network Settings and select Change Connection. I would also review this Help Center [page](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-What-Ports-Do-I-Need-to-Open-in-My-Firewall-for-Ring-Doorbells-and-Chimes-) to check if your router settings match what Ring devices require to be able to connect. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406) a call for further assistance.
