Is it possible to purchase the Ring Alarm Gen 2 from USA, have it posted to the UK and have it working?
No idea when the gen 2 will be over here so thought this might work.
Only issues I can see is power and also the sim card that is within the base station for Cellular backup…

The Base Stations for each region that we have the product available for are specific to the region, and therefore you cannot use a US version of the Ring Alarm in the UK or vice versa. This is due to the fact that the Z-Wave frequency that they create and communicate on with the Ring devices is different depending on the location you’re in, and therefore you cannot operate the base unit with the wrong frequency in the wrong location. We strongly advise against using a US Base Station in the UK and recommend to instead buy it from our website here. Hope this helps clear it up for you!
