I have the mq garage door opener and I want to integrate with the Ring Camera in the garage. Currently I have the MyQ listed in my ring app as the connection has happened, but I need something more. I need the camera to activate and record as soon as the garage door opens.
Is this something that anyone has completed or achieved?
Hi @2ManyRings. At this time, the MyQ integration doesn’t extend into the Linked Devices feature. This integration provides the garage shortcut tile for you to see the status of your garage door at a glance, and you can tap on it to be brought to the MyQ app. You can learn more about the setup and use of this integration here. You’re also welcome to add this as a suggestion to our Feature Request board so other neighbors can vote and share their feedback as well.
