I have a job site box and use with backup internet full time. It is very cold here and batteries in cameras and detectors are dead but unit still used up 3GB of data in 2 weeks ? Why ? Does unit automatically use data? I need to understand where it goes.
Hi @user32024. I would verify that no one has connected to the WiFi coming from the built-in Eero that’s in the Base Station Pro that could have consumed the data. For example, if they connected their phones to its WiFi to use video-streaming apps, that could be one of the ways they used up all of your data. How do I ascertain if someone is stealing my data. Nobody has the code? Do people hack in and steal or do phones connect to it automatically??
