How would you know if the solar panel is charging the stick up cam?

Hi! So we mounted the solar panel yesterday and plugged in the stick up cam.. now, it’s giving me a warning that the battery wasn’t charged.. i switched it to wired mode.. should I keep it as battery mode instead? Your advices are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Keep it in battery mode. I was having the same issue of showing solar connected but not showing the charging icon. Checked the USB C connection and found the C connection  was not pushed in the adaptor far enough. Push hard until you feel a click. It’s now connected and charging. The connection is very tight for weather proofing.
