STR WF26 - Setup doesn't work, but I only really need the door opener anyway!

During setup, the Ring App asks me to ring at the front door, which I did, but then I get the error, that the call couldn't be detected. I'm guessing the WF26 isn't fully supported, which is fine by me - all I need is the door opener. Is there a way to use the generic settings/setup to support this? I mean getting a notification if someone rang at the front door or the apartment door would me nice, too, but really not needed.
