2nd gen keypad UK

Hi all. Of course the UK alarm doesn’t allow for ring to call the emergency services etc and only calls the registered owner with an automated message. I upgraded our keypad to the 2nd gen and I’m still unsure what the 3 emergency buttons do? Does it just call the registered owner with an automated call still or does it actually request emergency services?Thanks in advance!
