Do I have to ring customer service to let them know I am installing an updated version of my ring doorbell as I pay a monthly fee ?

Hi @user_14bb8d. Which Ring subscription do you have? The Basic plan only applies to one Ring Doorbell or Camera. If you are replacing your Ring Doorbell and you have the Basic plan, you would need to cancel the plan and subscribe for the new device. If you have the Plus plan, this covers all Ring Doorbells and Cameras at one location, including new devices you add. I hope this helps!
