So the Live View works fine on my Alexa devices and my wife's phone, but my phone is the only device it doesn't work on. However it will work with the Rapid Ring app. Why won't it show me live feed on the regular Ring app? Don't tell me it has to do with internet connection because that is clearly not the case here. Everything you tell me to try I've tried already. This is definitely an issue on Rings end and it needs to be addressed. Also fun fact, when I click Live View and it just sits there and spin, the app is actually recognizing the Live View is active even though it doesn't come up. I know this because if I go into the feed it shows all my Live Views that I attempted to view. So Ring if you have a solution that doesn't involve internet issues then I would love to hear it.

I also have this. I noticed it last week when I upgraded to the Doorbell Pro 2. I cant say when it started as I have been playing about with the Pro 2 so using it more. It could have been happening before that. There are some other posts to suggest its being going on for about a month. I am on iOS. It looks to be an app or backend issue at Ring. Notifications, doorbell rings etc work ok. I need to test further but Live View appears to work when clicking on doorbell notification. The issue seems to be when going into the app and manually starting live view. In addition live view appears to work fine on my Fire TV hence also leading me to think its the iOS app itself.

I have also noticed on the dashboard in the app the snapshot preview isn’t updating and often just sits there with a snap shot from hours ago or yesterday (i.e. the last time I was in the app). Snapshots are being taken fine and show in the timeline.

Hello iam using Android version 10 on my one plus 7 pro and suddenly I cannot connect to live view. I only get connecting device notification but there is no live view. However I can control the lights on and off and can also do a view history. Everything works aside from live view. All network and wifi connections are great I have an older one plus phone (5) running version nine and I get instant connection. Does anyone know why my latest phone (7) is not allowing me to connect? Has anyone else had this happen? Please help!
